"The Trinity is composed of 3 persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is God. They are 3 in person but one in essence." i personally happen to have a different take on the topic, but my question really wasnt about the trinity. for the sake of discussion we'll assume that the trinity theory is correct and the father, son and holy spirit are indeed 3 in person but one in essence. wouldnt one have to conclude, then, that blasphemy against one would equal blasphemy against all three, therefore all blasphemy would be either forgivable or not forgivable? but the scripture in Matthew states otherwise. how can this be? again, i really appreciate your guidance on this subject, i'm writing a paper on it and this dialogue has been quite helpful so far. |

Brookelynne1982: 2 Corinthains 13:14. Ths Scripture is positive proof there is a trinity. I personally take Duet. 29:29 and apply it to the Trinity. There are some things about God we as humans can not comprehend. I have herad the illustrations about the egg, shell, yoke, and the white. But nothing I have found really gives a complete answer. So I walk by faith. I believe The Lord Almighty God Has three personhoods, and yet is one. I can not explain it, I accept the reality of what we do know. Blasphemy is defing the Holy Spirit by rejecting the Holy Spirits plea to make Jesus Christ Lord. The rejection of Jesus is eternal death and hell. For rejecting Jesus there is no forgivness! I hope this helps. Any thoughts? justme |
