Hold up! I have the 3rd Edition of the UBS, 1983. I see that the word KAI KLEENON is bracketed in the text and gets the C rating. That means the translation committee believes it more likely was added from the original, right? |

BUT ... it is only ONE translation committee ... a second one? As already stated most manuscrtipts and lexicons contain KLEENON. I believe the reason it was omitted by the MINORITY is because they saw it forced them to say baptism should be washing. I have proven my point ... and even the Luke passage is a stronger point. Since you refuse to accept this, there is no point in continuing. |
