Luk 11:38, Heb 9:10, Rev 19:13 ... You are correct, however to claim that the mode of baptism is (baptism means) immersion, or submerge is incorrect. Read the above verses, I think wash(ing)(s) would be a better translation for baptizo and its kin The way I read Acts 8:38-39, I see that both went into the water and came out ... and it does not say there was the eunuch was immersed, dunked or dipped, it is possible he and Philip were submerged together. We do not know how deep the water was. |
