2 | 1 man or 2? | Matt 8:28 | Morant61 | 70454
Greetings lbrindly! The most likely answer is that there were in fact two men, but Mark and Luke only write about one. I recently watched a documentary which detailed the experiences of one particular fireman during the attack on the World Trade Center Towers. Would it be correct to say on the basis of that documentary that only one fireman was effected by the attack? Would it be correct to say that the documentary was in error because it did not specifically detail every event which occured to every fireman? Of course not! Mark and Luke simply condensed the story and told the story of one man, while Matthew left the detail in that two men were involved. This happens several times in the Gospel accounts. I hope this helps! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

4 | Mark and Luke wright about the same man? | Matt 8:28 | Morant61 | 70458
Greetings lbrindley! I don't know and Scripture never says! I would guess that they probably wrote about the same one, since one may have been dominant. But, that is just speculation. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
