1 | Is complete darkness the norm for hell? | Matt 8:12 | mhines | 104653
Thanks EdB, those were the only types of verses I could find as well. I am by no means a bible scholar and I wanted some validation. Funny how validation can be either supportive or corrective. Many years of "incorrect" teaching takes a long time to wash over with the truth. Again, thank you for allowing me to learn. |

2 | Is complete darkness the norm for hell? | Matt 8:12 | Mommapbs | 104676
"I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life." John 8:12 "God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all." 1 John 1:5 Although Scripture does not specifically say that darkness is the norm for hell, we can infer from these Scriptures that this would be the expected environment. If one considers "hell" to be the unbeliever's final eternal separation from God, then utter darkness makes sense. Just some addtional thoughts! mommapbs |
