2 | Woman who marrys divorcee an adultress? | Matt 19:9 | mark d seyler | 175514
Hi fredfred, This is not a cut and dried question, but depends on whether the divorce was Biblically based. The main issue is whether or not the divorced man is a completely innocent party to the divorce. It is also signifacant to question whether it is a good idea to marry someone who was previously married, and their marraige failed. No marriage should be entered into without serious prayer and counsel, and especially if one or both of the parties has been divorced. This is something that should be taken up with one's pastor. I hope this helps! Love in Christ, Mark |

5 | Woman who marrys divorcee an adultress? | Matt 19:9 | CDBJ | 175529
Hi Mark, Great answer and it covered all the bases. “Only if they want to be within God's will.” Most believers would say yes, they must both be believers in order to get married. Then my next question “to them” would be; should unbelievers live together and have children out of wedlock and not get married? You saw right through my ploy, good for you, CDBJ |
