Fasting can be called prayer without words. When we fast, we tune into the Holy Spirit and hear what He has to say. We can fast for a number of reasons: (2)To find out God's will in a certain situation; (2)To draw close to God; (3) To honor God, are just a few of the reasons we fast. If you really want to get close to God, I suggest a 3-day fast. Not for diabetics. Janae |

Hi, Janae... On what Scriptures do you base these observations? Also, are you suggesting that the longer the fast, the closer to God one draws? Or is there something significant in some other way to 3 days you suggested? Thank you for patiently answering my questions. In Him, Doc |
