Bible Question: In our world today what role does fasting play in our worship of God? |
Bible Answer: Fasting can be called prayer without words. When we fast, we tune into the Holy Spirit and hear what He has to say. We can fast for a number of reasons: (2)To find out God's will in a certain situation; (2)To draw close to God; (3) To honor God, are just a few of the reasons we fast. If you really want to get close to God, I suggest a 3-day fast. Not for diabetics. Janae |
