1 | Should I tell him I'm sorry? | Matt 18:15 | remodeled | 49804 | ||
Thanks Mommapbs, I am familar with them scriptures and I quoted them to him. Which seemed to make him madder. As a Christian we have to watch what we say and do cause the world is waiting for us to slip. In this persons case he walks around talking about being saved and how he goes to church every time the doors open and how he knows the bible. If that is the case he knows better. As a matter of fact at break I tried to talk to him and all he would say is -and I quote "Go to he** and stay away from me". I feel sorry for him. I prayed for him tonight at church and will continue to . Got any more advice? God Bless, Remodeled |

Matthew 7:6 comes to mind! "Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." Perhaps what you are witnessing here is really God at work in this person's life. God's Word will not return to Him wthout accomplishing its purpose. This is a good place to let go and let God be responsible for the results! Once you have apologized and sought forgiveness from the one you have offended, it becomes HIS problem IF he refuses to truly forgive - his disobedience is not toward you but toward God. Keep that in mind! Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.1 John 4:4 Let the Lord fight the battle, stand firm in what you believe and don't become discouraged by this "christian's" poor reflection of Jesus. You have chosen to do the right thing; you have chosen to be obedient to the command of Jesus: "But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you," Matthew 5:44 Continue to trust God; continue to be obedient! Lastly, I would remind you of Peter's advise to wives which I believe is appropriate for all believers: "Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives." 1 Peter 3:1-2 Blessings on your day!
