1 | The Transfiguration of Jesus ? | Matt 16:28 | Ken John | 109116
Hi Emmaus, Do you not believe that the humanity of Jesus was transfigured? The Transfiguration sets forth his perfect humanity. Moses represents the Law and Elijah was the representative of the prophets. In Peace, KJ
2 | The Transfiguration of Jesus ? | Matt 16:28 | Emmaus | 109139
Ken, I do not understand the point of your question. Jesus' human appearance was transfigured so that His divinity shone forth. The Transfiguration was about manifesting Jesus' divinity to the Apostles who were with him. Who did Elijah and Moses meet on the mountaintop? God. Emmaus |

3 | The Transfiguration of Jesus ? | Matt 16:28 | Ken John | 109256
Okay maybe I need to study these verses again and clear my mind as to what I was attempting to convey about the Humanity of Jesus. Yes they met God but there is more to the Transfiguration. Maybe this is a picture of Jesus showing Peter,James and John their future; as was the case with Moses and Elijah. These disciples are today with Jesus as we will be one day. When they had come down from the mountain, they get back to lunatic earth and a lack of Faith as is evident with many of us, Matt 17:14-20. KJ
