1 | Jesus called himself the son of man why? | Matt 16:13 | TheFinalSQL | 128078 | ||
God never was and never will be human. God certainly did not die on the cross: John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Praise the Lord! Norm |

Hello Norm, I see BradK did a good job in response. I will add just a bit more. 1. Jesus is the exact image and imprint of God, which only God can be. He was not made in the image of God like mankind but WAS the image of God. Col. 1:15 (ESV) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Hebrews 1:3-4 (ESV) He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. 2. Jesus created all things, and He holds them together. Only God has this power and authority. Col. 1:16-17 (ESV) For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. [17] And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. The Lord Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. No less. Steve |
