2 | Are the remarried forgiven? | Matt 12:31 | joelove | 118882 | ||
have you excepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour? have you got a relationship with Jesus? do you beleive that he died for your sins and that God rose him from the dead? do you beleive that he lives in you by the Holy Spirit? have you seen the movie the passion of the Christ, particularly the scene were he is being whipped? well you can except one of those stripes for youself it has been delt with 2000 years ago. and if your answer is yes to the above questions you are not going to hell you are infact going the other direction, Gods plan is to see hell empty and heaven full. hell was not designed for man but for the angels who followed satan and for satan himself. so hay, be happy in your marriage follow Jesus build a relationship with him, every good promise in his word is for you and your husband, as long as you are born again. which i feel you are so enjoy your marriage. remember the letter kills but the Spirit (of God) brings life. |

I must disagree with you about Heaven being filled in contrast to Hell being empty. Although our God does want it that way, He knows mankind better than we know ourselves and Jesus said Matt 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. This concept is NOT new to the NT, it was well established in the OT. See 2 Ki 19:31, 2 Chr 36:20, Is 10:22 and Jer 31:7. Copied for reference Mi 2:12 "I will surely gather all of you, O Jacob; I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture; the place will throng with people. So you see, if the majority of mankind actually made it to Heaven, that wouldn't be such a glorious thing. That's the way we run this country and most of the world. In contrast is God's way and in His world only a minority will actually make it to Heaven. Hope to see you there. God bless. --Rowdy PS: I noticed your use of the word "excepted" in your post. I think the word you're looking for is "accepted." |

dear rowdy thank you for the spelling lesson, and im sure you will have more opportunity to correct my spelling in this post.refering to your note on Heaven being filled in contrast to hell being empty,read this 1 Tim 2:4 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (NKJ) God desires that ALL men, not SOME but ALL men be saved. thank you for the bible lesson and i know that not all men will be saved but the fact is that God "desires that all men be saved" thus the saying "hell empty and Heaven full" by the way i found more value in your correction of my spelling than in your bible lesson PS and i will see you in Heaven as well. LOVE, JOELOVE |

No slam intended. I noticed you used the term twice in the same post so... I should probably mention I'm one of the worst at this art of proofing my own work, especially when it involves manipulating a keyboard. I hope in reading my post, you were inspired to read God's Word. Sometimes it is challenging to figure out exactly what our Lord is telling us to do but I AM convinced that God's Word is whole, and it is in complete harmony; we just have to learn to adjust our lives in agreement with It. God bless. --Rowdy |
