Matthew chapter 11 speaks of Bethsadia, korazin and Capernaum, cities that reject Jesus. Jesus says of these cities that it will be worse for them on judgment day then it will be for the cities of Tyre, Sidon and Sodom. I am wondering if Bethsadia, Korazin and Capernaum were corresponding types of Tyre, Sidon and Sodom? Can anyone shed some light on that possibility and also, what were the specific sins of Tyre, Sidon and Sodom? Where were these three cities located geograpically? Chusarcik | ||||||

The Specific Sins of Sodom AMPLIFIED Ezekiel 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: pride, overabundance of food, prosperous ease, and idleness were hers and her daughters'; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. AMPLIFIED Jeremiah 23:14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies; they encourage and strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that none returns from his wickedness. They have all of them become to Me like Sodom, and her inhabitants like Gomorrah. |
