1 | Is our faith tested by trials? | Matt 11:12 | pako | 160627
Hi, dear trials do not mean you dont enjoy your christian life, actually the main thing is that christian should be the happiest,it all goes with understanding what trials are for, if you get the revelation that trials are just your bread to make you fat you will rejoice, i liken them to enemies, remember without the enemies there is no table Psalm 23,i know trials are not nice but the word admonishes us to count it all joy, you see christianity is another life, you rejoice when its rough.Have you realised that after trials you are more bolder and your faith is strong, sure. But as concerning the above scripture they mean that even the gentils can rush into the kingdom and take what God says is theirs by force without compromising what their situations say.Wow isnt this wonderful.
2 | Is our faith tested by trials? | Matt 11:12 | BradK | 160638
Hi pako, I'm agreed with what you said for the most part, my friend:-) However, you also stated that, "we are partakers of the nature of God that includes good health, prosperity, success. So the thing now is to receive them and how to receive these things is another topic but is by faith." How do you reconcile trials as being part of the Christian life with the prosperity that is (supposedly) included? I'm curious as to your view of this potential dichotomy. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
