1 | Is our faith tested by trials? | Matt 11:12 | Zoeinme | 160620
Could this that was spoken by Jesus be the reason so many Christians don't enjoy the benefits of their salvation?
2 | Is our faith tested by trials? | Matt 11:12 | pako | 160627
Hi, dear trials do not mean you dont enjoy your christian life, actually the main thing is that christian should be the happiest,it all goes with understanding what trials are for, if you get the revelation that trials are just your bread to make you fat you will rejoice, i liken them to enemies, remember without the enemies there is no table Psalm 23,i know trials are not nice but the word admonishes us to count it all joy, you see christianity is another life, you rejoice when its rough.Have you realised that after trials you are more bolder and your faith is strong, sure. But as concerning the above scripture they mean that even the gentils can rush into the kingdom and take what God says is theirs by force without compromising what their situations say.Wow isnt this wonderful.
3 | Is our faith tested by trials? | Matt 11:12 | Zoeinme | 160631
I aree that the Christain life is a different life for sure. That's why Jesus said that you must be born-again to live it. I've been born-again for many years and have had many trials and the Lord has delivered me out of them all. So from that I am convinced that He will keep on delivering me. I really do enjoy the benefits of my salvation, but the question I was asking is why there are so many who don't. I'm an interceesor and wanting some ideas how to pray for those who don't enjoy all the benefits of our inheritance.
4 | Is our faith tested by trials? | Matt 11:12 | mark d seyler | 160635
Hi Zoeinme, Col 1:9 For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. I find it difficult to add to these words! :-) I can only say that we learn as fast or slow as we are able, because I know that the Lord has not given up on any of us. Love in Christ, Mark |

5 | Is our faith tested by trials? | Matt 11:12 | Zoeinme | 160640
Hi Mark, I'm sure praying that God's children will understand how much He really loves us and wants us to be more than conquerers in this evil age. He wants so much for us to trust Him so completely that even when we're in a major trial we won't be discouraged and loose sight of our blessed hope. I'm also praying that the Lord of the harvest will thrust more laborers into His harvest. Keeping our eyes on Jesus and not what's happening in this world will keep us free to be the blessing He has called us to be. Like comforting those in stress with the comfort that He comforts us. We are too blessed to be stressed. AMEN
6 | Is our faith tested by trials? | Matt 11:12 | mark d seyler | 160641
Amen and Amen! Another passage from the same chapter you alluded to that God has touched me with in the last couple of days is:2 Cor 1:8 For we do not want you to be unaware, brethren, of our affliction which came to us in Asia, that we were burdened excessively, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life; 2 Cor 1:9 indeed, we had the sentence of death within ourselves so that we would not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead; 2 Cor 1:10 who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us, 2 Cor 1:8 For we do not want you to be unaware, brethren, of our affliction which came to us in Asia, that we were burdened excessively, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life; 9 indeed, we had the sentence of death within ourselves so that we would not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead; 10 who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us, God uses these trials to teach us to trust Him. When we truly trust Him, we are truly free! Thank you for your prayers, and your encouragement. 2 Cor 1:11 you also joining in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed on us through the prayers of many. God bless you! Love in Christ, Mark |
