1 | Money stole from illegal establishment? | Ex 22:9 | Emmaus | 54324
Ammi, My answer is this. If he intends to make restitution in this case he should do it very carefully and completely anonymously or his life may be in danger. You are not talking about the YMCA here and absolution is not likely to be forthcoming from the criminals to whom he is making restitution. If every there was a time to "be as wise a serpent and as innocent as a dove" this would be one. Just a little practical advice from someone who has worked the mean streets as a cop and who had friends that I grew up with do hard time. Emmaus |

2 | Money stole from illegal establishment? | Ex 22:9 | justme | 54359
Emmaus : Your advice is street wise. Many a Christian and nieve person has faced a premature death because they presumed on Gods grace. I sat near a 20 yearold male charged with murder, for tow trials, First was a hung jury. The last had dirty witnesses. His life has been a living hell on earth, I was striped searched evertime I went to visit, I could ware no shoes, socks, or shirt or belt just shorts and pants. He was allowed to ware just ubder shorts and chained to a bed and able to use the tolet/sink. He sleped on a stainless steeel bed of sorts. No matter what this person does there are big risks either way. Most pastors don;t know how to deal with this. Per haps Chuck Colsoms ministry might help with some idea. There are men who will put away someone for less that 100 dollars. I worked in a down Phoenix mission and i got smart real fast! My advice is feed the hungry first, Then they can listen with a full belly. I will remember Ammi's friend in prayer. agape, justme |
