1 | sex leading to marriage? | Ex 22:16 | justme | 105789
Mararios: This is a wide open door for a situation ethetisis. I doubt few of us have not known of a couple who has had to face this very situation. The cold statistics say more than half of "Christian brides" are pregnant. So many pastors are facing counseling with less than ideal reasons for people wanting to get married. I would be more concerned about is this couple really Christians. If one was and one was not I would not consider advising them to marry. I believe this would unequally yoke a couple who had made enough sin, without adding to the problems. I question what scripture that would back FORCING anyone to marry. Perhaps wiser counseling might be to spend whatever time is needed to help develope Christian responsibility and a solid foundation to assure a solid marriage if it ia at all possible could take place. There are so many veriables that a single blanket statement seem hard to justify forcing a marriage. Any thoughts? Blessings. justme |

2 | complications caused by sex | Ex 22:16 | case_00 | 105790
Thanks justme. You did a much better job of developing my thoughts than I did. Sometimes people (who aren't anything close to being ideal for each other) get into a dating situation and end up having sex. That's wrong that it happens, but could marriage possibly be another wrong for the couple (2 wrongs don't make a right)? I guess that the Bible doesn't go into much detail about this, but that's mainly why I'm asking. What scriptural wisdom can be applied to these kinds of situations? Thanks, Ryan |

3 | complications caused by sex | Ex 22:16 | justme | 105792
Ryan: That was the fastest response I have ever had from a posted note. 2 Corinthians 6:14 is the basis for Christians and the relationships we have in marriage, business, and lifes choices. However when a unborn child is involved this makes the situation much deeper to work through. Would it make a difference if the man was a Christian and the woman a unbelievre? How about the woman a believer and the man an unbeliever? As These are serious considerations that will last forever, and how we react will have an impact for life! Recerational, playboy sex is taking fire into our soul. God has a plan that makes lasting joy. But satan tempts mankind into what appears to be what will fill our needs aand give us pleasure, but only for a brief time. I hope this helps, any thoughts? Blessings Ryan. justme |
