Compare to Daniel 8:9-12; In the context of Dan 9:27 it speaks of the "he" (the one who makes desolate)causing the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. In Daniel 8:9 the "he" is call "a little horn" and this little horn in verse 10 "cast down of the host and of the stars to the ground" (Revelation 12:3,4 3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth...) Then the little horn in verse 11 takes away the daily sacrifice. Conclusion, the "he" that is "the one who makes desolate" of Dan 9:27 is the little horn of Dan 8:9 who is the dragon of Rev 12:4. | ||||||
