3 | Tribulation---7 years long? | Dan 12:11 | God's-elect | 186860
I am confused. How do you arrive at 3 and one half years from Daniel 12:11 and 3 and one half years from rev.11:3 when they are not the same time lenghts? Also what is the time spoken of in Daniel 12:12 as this is also different? I am trying to learn! Who are the two witnesses? Sorry for so many questions.
4 | Tribulation---7 years long? | Dan 12:11 | Psalm 25 | 186865
Daniel 12:11 is the first half of the 7 years while Revelation 11:3 is the second half. Two distinct periods that total 7 years. Daniel 12:12 says "1335 days"(as compared to 1290 in verse 11) and refers to those who were saved during the tribulation and will enter the 1000 year reign of Christ. The differnece between Daniel 12:11 and verse 12 is only 45 days indicating a period of time between tribulation and the beginning of the 1000 year reign. The two witnesses are up for some debate as to who they are; perhaps Elijah and Moses.
5 | Tribulation---7 years long? | Dan 12:11 | skccab | 186880
I've always thought they would be Elijah and Enoch - reason? The Bible says it is appointed to man to die once - these two were caught away from earth alive, they never died. And the only thing we know for sure about the 2 is that they are live, marked by God and appointed by God to preach for a certain length of time And then they will be killed, left alone dead and then raised from the dead and caught away again. But my idea of them being Elijah and Enoch is definitely in the minority, most do think Elijah and Moses, cause of the Transfiguration. blessings cheri |
