2 | Human dung for baking bread? | Ezek 4:12 | srbaegon | 209489 | ||
Hello, God wants to demonstrate through Ezekiel what they will be faced with when the siege of Jerusalem happens. They will not be able to accumulate firewood to cook their meals, so that will be their last source of fuel. Why was it changed? My thought is that Ezekiel considered cooking with human dung to be defiling. In the Law, human and animal waste was to remain outside the camp. Steve |
