Greetings Pastor Dan! According to Strong's concordance, there are five words translated as 'know', 'knowest', or 'knoweth'. They are, in order of frequency: 1) Yada (3045): This word is found 945 times. This is the word used in Jer. 31:34. It has all of the basic meanings of 'to know'. It can mean 'to come to know', 'to experience', 'to make known', 'to be instructed', ect.... 2) Biyn (995): This word is used 170 times. It seems to mean more of an intellectual knoweldge - 'to know', 'to consider', 'to understand', ect.... 3) Daath (1847): This word is used 93 times. This word is really a noun, but it is translated like a verb several times. It simply means 'knowledge' or 'instruction'. 4) Nakar (5234): This word is used 49 times. It means 'to know', 'to regard', 'to recognize', 'to understand. 5) Yfda (3046): This word is used 47 times and is really the Aramaic equivalent of 'yada'. I hope this helps!
