Morant61: Merry Christmas Tim! I agree with you and you state the reasons quite well. The celebration of "easter" is my pet peive! As Christians I want nothing to do with "estar" the supposedly godess of fertility. The celebration is "Resurrection Sunday" and is the celebration of the Lord Jesus Christ being resurrected. That's my idea of a pagen working it's way into Christ's Lordship. Any Thoughts? Blesings. justme |

Greetings Justme! Just like with Christmas, I don't really care what someone may have done thousands of years ago! All that matters to me is what it means to me. I celebrate the Lord's birth on Christmas, and I celebrate the Lord's resurrection on Easter. I really don't think that the name means much of anything, all that matters is what I do! :-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
