Hi Tim, Once again you have kindly come forward to impart your knowledge.Thanks. 1. You said "Scripture never says anything about Gabriel rebelling against God." If gabriel did not rebel against God, how come gabriel is now so opposed to Godand he is making every effort to tempt us to do the same? 2.You said "..I would say that He certainly know that Adam and Eve would disobey" It would seem illogical that God knew Adam and Eve would disobey His command and yet He allowed that to happen and thereafter displayed His anger.Displaying of anger signifies regrets? Your comments, please. With love in Christ FytRobert |

Greetings FytRobert! Thanks for the kind words my friend! 1) Did you perhaps means Lucifer? Scripture never says that Gabriel rebelled against God or that Gabriel tempts us now. But, it does speak of Lucifer rebelling against God. 2) Since you mentioned logic, may I respond in the same way? :-) God knew that after the fall we had fallen and depraved natures, correct? Yet, after the fall, He issued the Law through Moses. Yet, God knew that no one could obey the Law perfectly. So, there is no logical necessity which says that if God knew they would disobey that He cannot be angry or punish them for disobeying. Happy Thanksgiving! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
