God asked Moses who was "slow of tongue to lead his people, when moses said I can't talk well He gave him Aron to speek for him. (Ex 4:10 and 14) The Is.28:11 Tells us "He will speak to his people through stamering lips and a foreign toung." Are you being to quick too put yourself down because the world mocks you and is unkind? God may have made your tougue that way for an important part of His plan. Check with Him and be open to that possability THEN ask for "healing". Rember he knew you when you were in the womb, He made you and has been making babies for a long time, IF it is his will to fix it He will do it no mater how long it been "in the family" I'm Irish and everyone "knows" redheaded irish have a quick hot temper and will blow at the slightest thing, BUT GOD dosn't realy like that in His children, and as I have studied His word and grown closer to Him He has softened that aspect of my personality. OH yes I still take back the reigns and BLOE now and again but you know i hate the way it makes me fell ... .. I just hurt my best friend , my "big brother" my God, I don't want to do that, so I ask His forgivness, and the forgivness of the one I blew at, if I can, other drivers are a source, and each time its longer till I do it again. OH grand kids home ... God bless you and continue to ask Him what His will is for you. |

8788, I believe you can find comfort in knowing that you are not alone in your circumstance in life. Also, some of Gods servants in the Bible too had to overcome trials in their life. Paul is a good example of one who served the Lord but was given a thorn in the flesh (Corr. 12:7) "the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exaulted above measure." Now Paul asked the Lord 3 times that it might depart from him.(v.9) And he (Lord) said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is make perfect in weakness. Paul then finishes the verse by saying Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.(v.10) Therefore, I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then am I strong. I find comfort in these words knowing that God already knows my circumstances and is able to deliver me from them at any time. However, sometimes for my good and His glory he will allow such infirmities to be the very thing in my life that challenges me to draw closer to Him, and be of service to Him knowing that God only wants what's good for me and that which will bring glory to Him. May God bless you as you seek His will in your life. "MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR THEE" might be that verse you seek. JAL |
