I am trying to find the passage where Satan gets kicked out of Heaven. I found Revelation 12:7 already, but that is more symbolic and short. I thought there was a longer and easier (narrative style) to read version. Does anyone know where it is?

That one is good also. For some reason I thought I remember reading the actual play by play story of events. How Lucifer thought he was better than God and got some Angels to follow him, and then God condemned all of them to Earth. Isn't there more information about this happening in the Bible? Otherwise, how does everyone know this?

Hi, MNNiche... Much of the story of Lucifer's fall is fabricated or apocryphal. We know that He fell -- Christ even spoke about his fall (Luke 10:18) -- and we know some other details about this "enemy of our soul." However, all the other stuff has come along through things like Dante's Inferno, etc. Those stories, although colorful, are not substantiated by Scripture. They probably have their roots in Medieval morality plays and the like. Indeed, most commonly accepted information on angels is of equally questionable origin. In Him, Doc |
