Scripture ... "Remember Him before the silver cord is broken and the golden bowl is crushed, the pitcher by the well is shattered and the wheel at the cistern is crushed" (Eccl 12:6) ... God's day to you, Palau, Start with Ecclesiastes 11:8, or at the very least 12:1, whuch is about the last days. Verse 6 is about death. Luke 16:20-31 is about Lazarus and the Rich Man. Verse 22 says "Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham's bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried" ... and we read in the last 5 verses the rich man knew his death was final. If one were reincarnated, would one want to go tell their family? "And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment" (Heb 9:27). The context is that Christ died as a sacrifice once and His sacrifice was final. "We are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord" (2 Cor 5:8) ... read the context (vv 1-9).
