1 | Can angels have human babies? | Gen 6:4 | Servant7 | 29302 | ||
Greetings in the Lord. Here's a little somthing to consider. The Hebrew Word for "sons of G*D" is "Bene Ha Elohim". The word any other place in the Tanak( old testament)is translated Angles.(Job 1:6,2:1,38:7, for a few). You are correct in saying Matt 22:30 does not say Angles "cannot" be given in marriage, it refrences "will" not. Another tid-bit for us all to chew on is "the daughters of man" in Genesis 6. The hebrew word for "daughters of man" is "Benoth Adam", which would better translate "daughters of adam". This kinda leaves the "lines of Seth", and the "daughters of Cain" out of this equation. This is not a salvation issue, still it is good to be diligent in our studies of G*d's word. Another reason I stress this is because I do not believe we are done with these Nephilim. For a little more insight into this topic, there is a briefing package Koinonia House offers by Chuck Missler, " The Return of the Nephilim", 1997. I hope this helps, In Christ, Servant7 |

Servant7: Welcome to the Forum! You write: "You are correct in saying Matt 22:30 does not say Angles "cannot" be given in marriage, it refrences "will" not." I don't know what you mean when you say "it *references* 'will' not" (emphasis added). The NASB uses neither "cannot" nor "will not." "For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven." Matthew 22:30 NASB Grace to you, kalos |

Greetings in the Lord. Kalos, it is nice to hear from you. The NASB is also how the KJV reads. I used quotations to emphasise my point. In Christ, Servant7 |
