1 | Who are the sons of God in Genesis 6:2? | Gen 6:2 | EdB | 108048
New Creature Where do you get the facts of which you speak? How do you know angels can't procreate? How do you know the number of them remains the same? And if it does how do you know new ones aren't created (born or otherwise) to replace the ones that might die or become fallen angels? Why is impossible for them to have sexual relations with humans? I would like to know what you base these statements? EdB |

2 | Who are the sons of God in Genesis 6:2? | Gen 6:2 | New Creature | 108096
EdB Since Scripture no where gives indication that angels can pro-create, or that their numbers increase, and the fact that no indication is given that new ones are created, then to assume that they can reproduce, cannot be supported by Scripture. So unless someone can provide me with Scripture that would state such is so, at this time I must reject the notion that angels can, or ever have pro-created. See my second reply to sdtaylor99 The following Scripture does however make a distinction between humans and angels MattĀ 22:30 For in the resurrection they (referring to humans) neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. 3 | Who are the sons of God in Genesis 6:2? | Gen 6:2 | EdB | 108165
New Creature You made a statement as fact that may or may not be true. The only thing we know for sure is that Angels do not marry. We know nothing about their ability or lack of ability to procreate. We know nothing of their number other than there are many. Scripture simply does not state enough for us to say what you said as fact. You may very well be right but there is nothing this side of heaven to enable you to say that with certainity. For you to do so is doctrine of man not the word of God. EdB |

No, New Creature's statement is true, Ed, and I am ready to come to his defense. Makarios |
