In Genesis 4 it says she bored Cain and the bored Abel but in the 25th verse it says she bore a son and named him Seth. Then it says for she says God has appointed for me another child in stead of Abel because Cain killed him. So doesn't that make him clearly the third child? And what is a Nephilim? | ||||||

Gen 4:1 Now the man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, and she said, "I have gotten a manchild with the help of the LORD." ... Cain was the first human born, unless there was a girl born first Gen 4:2 Again, she gave birth to his brother Abel. ... Shows us there were others born from Adam and Eve that had left home (verse 15 supports this). Gen 4:17 Cain had relations with his wife and she conceived, and gave birth to Enoch; and he built a city, and called the name of the city Enoch, after the name of his son. ... Shows us, again, there were other children born to Adam and Eve. This has been discussed many times before Gen 4:25 Adam had relations with his wife again; and she gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, for, she said, "God has appointed me another offspring in place of Abel, for Cain killed him." ... Seth was not the third child born, just the third one born born to Adam and Eve, that was named ...
