1 | Are Enoch and Elijah The Two Witnesses? | Gen 5:24 | Searcher56 | 11258
Nolan, excellent answer. Is it possible Enoch and Elijah are the Two Witnesses (Rev 11:3ff)? I ask because we it is appointed for us to die once, then the judgement (Heb 9:27). Steve PS Do we need a new thread? |

Steve- In Joshua 1:1 it state "After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord...". I personally think that the two witnesses are going to be Enoch and Elijah. They are the only 2 in scripture that haven't had a physical death. However, another train of thought puts the witnesses as being Elijah and Moses as representing the Law and Prophets. Take your pick. But I put more credence on Enoch because of Heb. 9:27. |

4 | Are Enoch and Elijah The Two Witnesses? | Gen 5:24 | EdB | 11449
I don't think one will be Enoch. The witnesses come to the Jews, Enoch is not a Jew. I believe to be witnesses to Jews will require two men from the lineage of Abraham. My guess Moses and Elijah. Heb. 9:27 doesn’t enter in here. That passage is to counter reincarnation. Every live person taken in the rapture will void any other interpretation of that passage. |
