1 | why put the tree in middle of garden | Gen 3:3 | imforgiven | 111926
Why did God put the forbidden tree smack in the middle of the garden? Why not in a corner, behind thistles and thorns? Analogy: if I go to a party - best way to increase likihood of interaction is to be inviting, to be in the middle of the room. To shut myself off, I can go to a corner or behind large obstacles. Why did God tempt us so well?
2 | why put the tree in middle of garden | Gen 3:3 | Makarios | 112194
Greetings imforgiven, Here is something to consider: Would man have still sinned, and still have chosen the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil over the Tree of Life, if the tree was not placed by God in the middle of the garden of Eden? I believe so. Even if the tree were somewhere in the back, away from everything else, I believe that we would have still found a way to get to it, since that was the one tree that we were commanded not to eat from. Blessings to you, Makarios |
