Thank you, Azure. No, I never pictured you as a feminist. (0: I guess what I was trying to say, was that your choice of words "ruling power" somehow rubbed me wrong. I guess you are right in the rule sense, but it is not with power that Adam possessed in himself, but he was to rule through the power that he received from God. Does this make more sense? We can relate this to king Solomon, who was offered anything he could possibly desire by God. Now, I see your point though it seemed a bit side-tracked from my intended question. No, I am not advocating that Adam possessed that power in him. I agree completely that all powers are originated from God, nothing else. Thanks again for the nice discussion:-) Shalom Azure |
