God's day to you, Thomas8, Since Isaac was Abraham's son (Gen 21:3), they were second cousins ... they have a common great-grandparent (Terah (Gen 11:26)) and are the same generation. Abraham and Rebekah were first cousins once removed, because they have Terah in common, bur of diferent generations. The ordinal number for cousins, means how far back one goes to the common ansector. The "removed" number, indicates how mny generations between the two indivduals. Searcher |
