1 | how does this show what to give to God? | Gen 1:27 | Chusarcik | 102630
In Matthew 22 verses 18-20 when the Pharisees ask Jesus about paying taxes, Jesus tells them look at the coin and that becuase Caeser's portrait is on it the tax belongs to the government. Jesus then says, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." This illustration clearly shows Christ followers are to pay taxes but I have a question on the second part of Jesus' comment above where He says...to God what is God's." The question is this: How does the illstration show what to give God? Chusarcik |

Jesus answer is actually about the idolatry of the graven images of Caeser on the coins. You are the image of God so give yourself to God.
