Hi, Curtis Neeley! I think that what you are asking is quite a tall order... there are many subjects that seem to be ignored by Scripture... however, taking into consideration that the Bible is a conglomeration of books on theological teachings, we can quickly dispense of any seeming gaps on doctrinal teachings... Jesus, while speaking to Israel explained that He did not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it... He proceeded to correct the erroneous teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees and in one particular occasion He taught on adultery... He told His listeners that man committed adultery not only by the actual engagement of a physical sexual intercourse, but that man committed adultery in his mind if he looked at a woman and desired her (Matthew 5:27-30) True, the female figure is appealing... and you may have excelled in your profession as a photographer... but consider this: * Will everyone looking at your artistic photographs view them in the same manner as you? * How many of the females you photographed were under-weight, over-weight, ethnic, short, old, not as aesthetically pleasing (ugly, deformed, missing appendages, bold, uneducated, destitute, etc.)... Sadly, society has determined only those female bodies that exude sexuality (perfect everything, even if cosmetically enhanced) are beautiful women... if your work reflects those values... you know that your were not in the field of acknowledging and respecting the female body as a work of art but as a work of sensuality or a commodity (something to be sold/exchange for power/wealth)... Now, if you examine the Holy Scripture in the terms I proposed you will find that you were not in a field that could please God!: 13You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. 14The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." 15If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. 16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. 19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. (Galatians 5:13-26) God Bless! Angel |

I did not know that he was seeking to profane the Bible site... still, I felt the need to respond to his recent post... sometimes Satan is just about to swallow a person whole and the Holy Spirit, through our efforts can ignite in him/her and convict him/her of the Truth! JCrichton. Without any disrespect, I am assuming that you have not seen the web site. This is pure open porn. I can't state it any planer. I have no problem with someone seeking advice as he did. However, he slipped in the filtgly web site address, which is a lure to draw weak ones into the trap and addiction of porn! I doubt you have any idea how many Christian men and youn boys are addicted to this garbage. Would you want your brother or father to visit this web site? Romans 14:22 warns us to be carefull in what we approve. By not taking a stand and warning others I take the position of approving this nasty web site. The Holy Spirit uses our efforts to say that things are sin as well as His internal witness to the person. Evil advances when good persons stay quiet. Blessings. justme |
