Look at the 2 following verses, then answer the questions below. 2 Pet. 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day Concerning angels the Bible says 1. they sinned 2. did not keep their first estate (position of authority in some in another version) 3. left their habitation (home in another version) 4. were cast down to hell 5. they are in chains awaiting judgement. My questions are; 1. What caused them to sin? 2. Where was this habitation mentioned? 3. Are they still in chains awaiting judgement? New Creature |

New Creature, Jude 1:6, They did not remain in their own realm or origional state but entered in to marrying women of man and committed sin.Look at Gen. 6:4. This was their habitation, not only Heavan but they entered into the fisical realm.Did you ever wonder why, when Jacob was wrestling with the angel, the angel fought to be free before sunrise? 2nd Peter 2:4., it doesnt say what sin they committed,As far as them still being there we hafe to go with what the Bible says, they are still there. I have a question for you, did all the angels go to hell to await there judgement or did these angels comitt a greater sin than others?I have my opinion ,whats yours? just a thought DL5.
3 | the angels that sinned | Jude | DarcyA | 96751
DL5 That Angel that Jacob wrestled with I believe was Jesus. Genesis 48:16 The Angel WHICH REDEEMED ME FROM ALL EVIL, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth. (emp. added) This verse states that Jacob was redeemed by this angel. Only Jesus can redeem angels can not. In Christ, Darcy |

Hey DL5 I am doing good thanks how about you? Now for your questions. I have honestly never thought about why the angel wanted to be free before sunrise. But its something I am diffently going to look into. The account really bugged me for along time. First of the angel we know could have won hands down. If the angel was God He diffently could have won. Now over all I believe this here is a type of prayer. But as for this part of Genesis I don't understand it all. As well as Jocab's ladder vision. Although I do know that the Angel injuring his hip plays a big roll. (Heb. 11:21) As I was writing this I thought of why the angel might have wanted to be released before day break. Gen. 32:30 So Jacob named the place Peniel, for he said, "I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been preserved." If Jacob seen God face to face as this verse says. Jacob could not see God clearly for it was dark. If Jacob would have seen His face clearly he would have died. (Exo. 33:20) Just a thought I know had and didn't have two minutes ago.
