1 | Mordecai and Zerubbabel? | Ezra 2:2 | afbanks | 144232 | ||
In the NASB - The Open Bible Expanded Edition in the Intoduction Info about the book of Esther, the survey of Esther says that the story of Esther fits between chapters 6 - 7 of Ezra. However, Ezra 2:2 includes Mordecai's name as one of those who go with Zerubbabel. Since, Mordecai was rather obscure before the events in Esther, what is going on here? Is this another Mordecai?
