Well .. given that Hosea was commanded by God to marry an adulteress, I don't think there is any right or wrong person to marry as long as it is God's will. However, Paul's message to the Ephesians is to love your spouses and be true to your spouses. In fact, Paul tells the husbands to love their wives as Christ loves the church.
