1 | facing the problem | Ephesians | michael03 | 194018
Shalom, brothers and sisters. I have a question that has bugged me for a few years now. I was hoping to lead a friend to Christ, and to set an example to the person to show Jesus in me. I had a friend who was saved that would use mild profanity around the first friend. well, later I went to the second, to try to explain the problems the profanity would cause. My friend said I was judging him. now tell me, how exactly do you handle that situation? I was not there to judge anyone, only to let this man know what the problem was. Never once did I condem him to hell, accuse him, or belittle him. this has been on my mind for about 4 or 5 years. God bless, michael

Dear Michael, I believe the below scripture helpful to both of you since you said your friend is a Christian. Ephesians 4:17-32. My suggestions would be: 1/ Pray for them. 2/ Admonish your Christian friend in private with scriptures. 3/ Continue to be a good testimony for Jesus. Explain to your pagan friend that Jesus still loves despite we behave poorly. (Matt 9:13) Hope I have helped. Shalom Azure |
