1 | What does 1 Corinthians 11:5-16 mean? | 1 Corinthians | sbosch | 158393
I am confused by 1 Corinthians 11:5-16. Does it mean that women should wear something on their head when they pray or prophesy or does it mean they should use their judgement and do what they like. If it means women should literally wear, does it suggest that when they are not praying they can remove what they wear? And is there a time when one would confidently say they are not praying?

Hello sbosch, This has been covered before if you would do a search. Alternately, you could go to http://www.bible.org/passage.asp and select 1 Corinthians. Bob Deffinbaugh has two good articles on this passage. I do not agree with his conclusion that the headcovering is no longer to be used today, but the rest of the piece is good. Steve |
