Everyone who lives upon the earth is a sinner. Even the person you might assume to be perfect sins. Your pastor is a sinner, your mother is a sinner and so on and so on. That is why each day we need to pray and remember two things when we pray.1. We need to Praise God for all of his grace and his love and the wonderful life he provides us and the ways that we are blessed.2. We need to ask him to forgive us our sins and to forgive others who have sinned against us. this is a step of faith that is part of our spiritual growth. As we mature as christians we read Gods letter to us the bible and we learn to make decisions that will help us to break bad habits. As we become mature we replace old ways of acting and reacting to people and situations with new ways of acting and reacting . We can not break old or bad habits but we can replace them with positive or constructive ones. This is how we mature. And maybe one day our family will not be able to tell when we have sinned, our friends will not be able to tell when we have sinned, only you and God will Know when you have sinned. I think that is the best that we can do in our walk with the lord. blessings to you and to your walk with God the father, God the son, God the spirit three in one. Fellow sinner in christ conlan4k

If I am still considered a sinner then how can I be a child of God. Did not Jesus impute righteousness on me. If I am still considered a sinner what Adam did is still upon me and not what Jesus did at the cross. Rom 9:19 why do we give Adam more power than Jesus?
3 | are believers still considered sinners ? | Romans | conlan4k@earthlink.net | 42106
I am sorry you feel that way. Genesis 8:21b I will never again curse the earth, destroying all living things, even though man's bent is always toward evil from his earliest youth, and even though he does such wicked things.Romans3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. John 1:12 But as many as received him to them he gave th right to become children of God. The most important verse is the one we focus on after we become children of God. 1 John 1:9 But if we confess our sins to him, he can be depended upon to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. We must ask each day to be forgiven our sins. I am sorry you feel that way . God is the only one who is perfect. He is holy. Man is not.

If I get a speeding ticket and go to court and the judge throws it out although I am a speeder I am not identified with the speeders because it is not on my record. So when my record is pull it shows that I am a good driver but I still speed. Will because of the work of Jesus I am not consider a sinner because my record is clean I am not identified with sinners but with the righteous the blood of Jesus has wiped my record clean. I am not identified with the first Adam that imputed sin but with Jesus the second Adam that imputed righteousness. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. |

Your point is well taken. I am not disputing the fact that we are made clean because Jesus shed his precious blood and cleansed us from sin. The problem is we still live on earth and until we get to heaven we are in the flesh body. We can not be in heaven in our flesh body. Heaven is perfect, sinless. There is no sin there. On earth we are to do good works when we accept Jesus as our savior this is true. And we are told to wear the armor of God. We can be rightous and pure but we are not perfect. God came to earth as Jesus. God and Jesus are one and the same. Therefore only they can walk the earth sinlesss. if we were sinless we would be in heaven which is perfect. heaven is where God wants us to be one day. That is why he came here through Jesus his only begotten son, so that we could be forgiven our sins and have a place reserved in heaven. A mansion is mine. I do think that to speak with authority about who and what you will allow in your life is very noble and takes a person of great intuition and courage. Speak as things should be instead of how you would like them to be. Yes, I think this is good and righteous. Also I think you refer to the book entitled "The two adams." I have never read this book but it sat on my grandmother's coffee table for years. Is this the theory of a man or does it say in the bible that Jesus is the second Adam?

I Corinthians 15:45-49 The Scriptures tell us, "The first man, Adam, became a living person." But the last Adam-that is, Christ-is a life-giving Spirit. What came first was the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later. Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. Every human being has an earthly body just like Adam's, but our heavenly bodies will be just like Christ's. Just as we are now like Adam, the man of the earth, so we will someday be like Christ, the man from heaven. This is the concept of the two Adams. The first was the firstborn of death, the second was the firstborn of the living. |
