In 1 Tim.1:15 Paul does not talk about himself in the past tense as a sinner but rather that he is currently a sinner. I believe that those who follow Christ and have salvation are not perfect-we continue to try to root out sin in our lives to become the best that we can to serve our Lord. Paul is a good example of a sinner - saved by the grace of Jesus Christ but still a sinner. | ||||||

The next verse Paul says HOWBEIT which means BUT and when BUT is used it cancel what is said before. | ||||||
