In the original text the word man is husband. The text should read I suffer woman not to teach her husband. In Rom. 16:7 Paul rights: Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. Andronicus, and Junia are seen as apostles. When you look up the name Junia you will notice that it is Feminine - meaning Junia was a woman, thus a femal apostle. I hope this will clear things up for you.... |

Andronicus and Junia were fellowprisoners, not apostles ... they were "held in high esteem among the apostles" (AMP) ... the word among means "in, by, with" and I think they weren't included with the apostles. | ||||||
