1 | Recognition after death? Biblical Ref? | Romans | Low Pass | 116491
My mother-in-law died recently and my wife asked me if we would see and recognize her after we die and go to be with God. I tried to think of an answer using the bible as a reference. I could not think of a reference from the old or new testament. Can somebody help me with this? Along the same line if we do recognize family, how about friends or people we have met while in this world? To make this a little more complex, at what stage in our lives would we recognize one another - as children, adults or at a senior age? Thank you. |

We will be different in the heavn. The relationship will be only as in brothers and sisters. In other way, your children will also be your brothers/sisters in heavn. There is no need to get puzzled about how God is going to prepare you to see you love ones. By then, everyone will be happy in heavn. Come to think of it, there are millions of millions of saved souls. If we use our worldy mind to imagine what heavns will be, we would then ask another question, ... how do we find them?.... Answer is, we don't have to .. by then, we will all know... God Bless. Romans 12:4, 5 |

3 | Recognition after death? Biblical Ref? | Romans | Low Pass | 116495
I believe Romans 12:4,5 is describing the body of Christ (the church) and it's functions serving each and needing each other and thus glorifying Christ. As for your explanation about about being brothers and sisters in heaven I agree with that, being brothers and sisters in Christ. The question still remains - will we recognize each other from our days on earth? |

Mt 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. If we get the parables of Jesus Christ about lazarus, it will look like this. Lu 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. the rich man in that parables recognize lazarus, the richman also remember his families, it is clear in that parables that the can recognize each other. But are we really precise what really we have there in heaven? Are we really sure what kind of life we have there? NO! 1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. What God prepared to those who love Him is really a surprise! A BIG SURPRISE! God bless, |
