1 | Tribulation before rapture? | Matthew | bobulou | 56155
yes, for it is Jesus speaking these words in Mat24:29-36 to you, to me, and to others who will listen with the leading of the Holy Spirit as our teacher and guide to know His truth and His doctrine,(read/John 7:16-18,John 14:26, John 16:12-15). And as the brother told you before, as you can tell, you have two who agree as one, be the third, believe God's truth as it is spoken to all of us. May God bless and keep you safe in the trying times ahead. yours in Christ Jesus our Lord, robert
2 | Tribulation before rapture? | Matthew | kalos | 56168
"the true church will be raptured . . . between the sixth and seventh seals of Revelation, sometime during the second half of the seventieth week." _____________ "The Prewrath position teaches that the true church will be raptured when the great tribulation by Antichrist, inspired by Satan, is cut short by God's day-of-the-Lord wrath, which will occur between the sixth and seventh seals of Revelation, sometime during the second half of the seventieth week. The persecution associated with the great tribulation of Antichrist is viewed as the wrath of Satan, whereas the events that follow, beginning with the seventh seal, are considered the wrath of God. There is another term that is sometimes expressed, "historical premillennialism," which refers back to the teaching of the early church fathers before 325 A.D. who believed that the church would face the persecution of Antichrist and Christ would then reign for 1000 years upon the earth. With the exception of two, Origen and Clement of Alexandria, who were allegorist, they all taught this view. Prewrath is plainly and simply an expansion of this view which was biblical then and biblical now." 3 | 2 witness resurrection and pre-wrath | Matthew | retxar | 56173
Kalos, Does the pre-wrath position teach that the rapture of the church and the resurrection of the 2 witnesses (Rev 11:12) occur at the same time? This event also occurs after the sixth trumpet (Rev 9:13) and before the seventh trumpet (Rev 11:15). thanx, retxar |

4 | 2 witness resurrection and pre-wrath | Matthew | kalos | 56174
retxar: Thanks for the question. Good to hear from you. I see that the ACCOUNT of the two witnesses' resurrection is recorded in Revelation between the sixth and seventh *trumpet* judgments. However, that is not what I said in my post. What I said is "The Prewrath position teaches that the true church will be raptured when the great tribulation by Antichrist, inspired by Satan, is cut short by God's day-of-the-Lord wrath, which will occur between the sixth and seventh *seals* of Revelation, sometime during the second half of the seventieth week" (www.signministries.org/positions.htm) (emphasis added). Note "between the sixth and seventh seals of Revelation." "Seals", not "trumpets." Much more information regarding the Prewrath Rapture position can be found at (www.solagroup.org/). Grace to you, kalos |

5 | 2 witness resurrection and pre-wrath | Matthew | retxar | 56192
Thanks Kalos! This clears up a lot for me! SEALS NOT TRUMPETS! Thanks! Sorry for the blunder! Rev 8:1-2 "When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them". The seven angles only recieved their trumpets after the seventh seal was opened. You also made me think about the ACCOUNT of the two witnesses being recorded between the sixth and seventh trumpet, not neccesarly when it will actually take place (tho not ruled out by me). Iron sharpen iron! retxar |
