I've been in the word for many years. I started reading through the Bible each year about 7 years ago...But I feel like I'm going through the motions. I need more. I'm considering reading one chapter a day so I can spend more time in specific study and hearing what God has to say to me. Any suggentions?

Daniel, greetings. Do not be in a rush to read through the Bible. I am currently studying Malachi ... it is the book my pastor is preaching from. I study ahead of his message. I have also done word studies, including worship. I have found that most do not understand worship ... I am just learning. I do also read the other portions ... I need to be careful and not read it like a textbook. Searcher |

Thank you for your response. Sometimes I wonder if I just didn't learn good study habits early on. My goal is not just to know Bible...I want to know our wonderful Savior better. Sometimes that comes through study...sometimes through listening to the Spirit.
