I have not tried to count the times repentance was offered. The Lord relented, means He withdrew the punishment He intended to mete (Amos was being forewarned in the vision) because Amos interceded on behalf of Jacob. Thus, God was saying that He would not do that which He intended otherwise to do. | ||||||
