2 | Satan can't read minds | Jeremiah | Searcher56 | 23294
Scripture ... Psa 139:2, Jer 12:3, Matt 9:4, Luke 9:47 ... God knows our thoughts ... Satan cannot. I do not know a passage that says either can put thoughts in our minds. The Holy Spirit does convict (John 16:8); but I don't see that as putting thoughts in our minds. As Nolan said - support your statement. Searcher |

Excellent answer, Searcher. Even though God knows our thoughts, as you point out, and the Spirit convicts and guides, even God Himself does not "possess" us in the sense that He controls our thoughts and actions as though we were puppets on a string. Omniscience is a characteristic of God, and I know of place in Scripture where there is a suggestion that any created beings, Satan included, are omniscient. --Hank

Hank, so where is the passage? Or did you mean you, like me, don't know a Bible passage where the rest of us are omniscience? S
