This is for morant61, it is so refreshing to finally have someone on SBF that understands biblical interpretation. The whole book of Ecclesiastes is narrative. Not once does the phrase the word of the Lord came unto Solomon, or thus saith the Lord. W,ith that said now concerning Vals question about lying I personally feel there is a distinct difference in lying to cover an injustice and bearing false witness against thy neighbor. God judges the intent of the heart. After all Love covers a multitude of sin. Walking in Love is more important than some self rightous act of piety. | ||||||

Hello SOG, There is an intesting debate on this topic at Reformed.org ISSUE: Are We Ever Morally Justified in Deceiving Others? It takes into account many passages of scripture. I do not agree with everything this website says. Just offering it for your research since you mentioned me. I do not want to debate this topic futher but thought you might find the link a good read.
