The word Zion comes from a hebrew word that means monument. As God originally meant for the Israelites to be his monument on earth, an example for the nations to follow. Other names for the nation include: Jerusalem, Jeshurun, Jacob, The daughters of Zion, depending on the context in which they are used. | ||||||
